A smartphone or computer with a microphone and modern standards compliant browser

Part 2:
creating a lecture
Step 1:
click the button titled "Press to begin the lecture"
Step 1a:
if needed, give the app permissions.
Note: your browser may ask you to give the app permission to record audio and send you notifications. audio recording is essential to the app's functionality, and it will not work until microphone access is granted. notifications are only necessary for Q&A related features, and do not immediately need to be granted.
At this point, you may begin talking. it may take a few seconds for words to begin appearing in the transcript, but it will catch up.
Step 2:
give a lecture as normal, but remember that you may wish to use the [EMPHASIS] feature, and that your students may ask you questions using the [QUESTIONS] feature. For best results, go no further from your device than you would from your phone on speaker mode.
Part 3:
USING EMPHASIS
Step 1:
When you start to or are about to say something important, click the large button labeled "Emphasis" or press the spacebar. You can also bind this to a clicker - ask your IT department or shoot us an email for help.
Step 2:
When you're done saying something important, release the button or spacebar.

Remember that starting emphasis gives your students a notification, so if you're starting emphasis more than 5 times per minute, consider consolidating a bit.
Part 4:
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:
Step 1:
to check to see if your students have asked any question,
you will be notified with the questions, and they will appear on the right sidebar. You are able to see what areas of the transcript the questions are linked to.
Step 2:
When you've finished answering the question, or to clear the notification, click the resolve button
once the question has been resolved, it's greyed out, you can still see it though
